We are the official media sponsor for the Regina chapter of a national initiative called 5 Days for the Homeless (www.5days.ca). 5 students will live outside for 5 days with nothing but sleeping bags and cardboard in order to raise awareness for homelessness in Regina and all over Canada. Living Sky Media will be making video blogs every day for this charitable event. Have a look at the first video!!!!
Tourism Saskatchewan has sent Living Sky Media to the Vancouver 2010 Olympics to video blog with Jeff Maystruck. This is an experience of a life time for any person working in the media. While at the Olympics our goal will be to capture as much footage of these historic events as humanly possible. The Saskatchewan Pavilion is off the wall. In the blog that will be posted later today you will be able to see the dome that has been specially designed for the Sask Pavilion. On the inside of the dome 5 HD projectors controlled by a computer, project images of Saskatchewan. It stands out next to all the other pavilions and it really puts Saskatchewan on the national map. Check out the first video blog from the Olympics posted below.
22fresh is a baseball apparel company based in Regina, Saskatchewan. Kip Simon (owner – 22fresh) wanted to show off his product so it would attract mass audiences. We decided to combine both beauty and brawn to 1) show off the fantastic looking signature white bats and 2) show off the bat making process. Kip also indicated that he wanted the video edited quickly. We opted to create a little bit of suspense for the audience at the beginning, and finish off the video with a bang. Check it out!
The advent of blogging has made it easy for anyone with an opinion to share their commentary with the world. Blogging can be used critically, to share moments from ones life or to simply speak ones mind. When it comes to blogging, potential bloggers are not limited to simply posting things on a website. Vlogging (video-blogging) creates the possiblility for one to be critcal, share moments or to speak ones mind except it is on video and it gives the blogger a physical character. Vlogging also offers a blogger with the tools to be more creative through the video production process. In any case, the “vlogs” posted below were created on a tight budget for Saskatchewan Tourism and Fraser Strategy to help create some hype for the 2010 olympics. These types of services are offered by Living Sky Media at marginal prices with high quality results. Contact us for more details.
